Man arrested, accused of killing woman found in bathtub
ROSWELL, Ga. (AP) — Authorities in Roswell say a man has been charged with killing a woman whose body was found in the bathtub in her apartment.
News outlets report 38-year-old Antonio Wilson was arrested Friday and charged with murder in the June death of Fabiola Thomas.
Roswell police spokeswoman Sgt. Britney Rodgers said Thomas’ roommate called police on June 8, hysterical and frantic, saying Thomas was in the bathtub and “something bad had happened to her.”
Sgt. Zachary Frommer said Thomas’ body showed signs of trauma. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office ruled Thomas’ death a homicide this month.
It’s unclear how police connected Wilson to Thomas’ death.
It’s also unclear whether Wilson has an attorney who can comment on his behalf.
Roswell is about 22 miles (35 kilometers) north of downtown Atlanta.
