Fire at Kimberly-Clark in New Milford
NEW MILFORD — A fire broke out at Kimberly-Clark Corporation in town on Sunday afternoon and firefighters are still working to ensure all the flames are out.
The blaze broke out around 4:30 p.m. and fire units from New Milford and surrounding towns ended up responding for what was reportedly a one-alarm fire in the building at 58 Pickett District Road.
Within about 15 minutes, reports indicated that firefighters on scene said the fire was knocked down and they were checking for hotspots or any extension.
Kimberly-Clark is the maker of products such as Kleenex and Scott paper towels.
