Purse stolen in home break-in
DOVER — The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a “concerning” burglary earlier this week.
Deputies were called to a residence in the 200 block of Pearl Street around 6 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a burglary that occurred sometime overnight between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Capt. Scott Behrns said.
The home’s residents reported that a woman’s purse was stolen off the kitchen table. It is believed someone entered the home through an unlocked sliding glass door in the back of the home, Behrns said.
The home’s residents were asleep at the time of the incident.
