Penney’s and Pitt offer students dress for success on interviews

April 2, 2018

The University of Pittsburgh Career Service Center and JCPenney will join forces on Sunday for an event designed to help students dress for success as they exit college to the workplace.

JCPenney will host the private event at its Ross Park Mall location after the store closes this Sunday, to accommodate hundreds of students looking for advice on what to wear for job interviews.

Faculty, staff and alumni from Pitt and members of the JCPenney team will offer insights into the latest career fashion trends, how a suit should fit, what size to buy, how to tie a tie and various other concerns for students headed to job interviews.

JCPenney will offer a 40 percent discount to all University of Pittsburgh students with a valid ID during the event.

Students will have a chance to receive a free mini-makeover at Sephora Inside JCPenney and receive a free salon consultation and xpress bar hair touch-up at the JCPenney Salon.
