Prosecutors file charges in 2 cold case homicides
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Murder charges have been filed in two unrelated cold case killings in southern New Jersey.
Atlantic County prosecutors say two people face murder charges in the 1996 slaying of 20-year-old Antojuan Huffin, who was robbed and shot to death. The male suspects were both juveniles at the time, ages 14 and 17.
The older suspect was arrested earlier this month, while the other remains at large.
The second case is the 2010 shooting death of 24-year-old Saleem Tolbert. Investigators believe he was shot by Lorin “Boog” Wright, a childhood friend. Wright is also facing murder charges in the unrelated 2017 killing of Keith Cundiff.
It wasn’t known Wednesday if Wright has retained an attorney.
