Dimeco Declares First Quarter Dividend

HONESDALE — The Dime Bank’s parent company declared a 28-cents cash dividend for the first quarter of 2018. The dividend, declared Friday, represents a 3.2 percent yield based on the $35 closing stock price Thursday, Dimeco Inc. said in a statement. That’s up from a 3.09 percent dividend yield for the first quarter in 2017. Dividends are payable on April 24 to shareholders of record on March 30. Dimeco, which has branch offices in Wayne, Lackawanna and Pike counties, posted $655 million in total assets, $510 million in loans and $489 million in deposits as of Dec. 31. — JON O’CONNELL
