James T. ‘Tom’ Glasgow

James T. “Tom” Glasgow, age 88, of Watertown, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, in Watertown.

He was born Oct. 28, 1929, in De Queen, Arkansas, a son of the late Thomas Hoke Glasgow and Ritchie Lee Bedwell Glasgow. Tom was a retired lift truck mechanic for over 35 years at National Lift Truck Service in Franklin Park, Illinois. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving on the USS Ajax and a member of Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church.

Also preceding him in death was his spouse, Dorris Vickers Glasgow, whom he married March 22, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Survivors are two daughters, Rebecca “Becky” McKee and spouse, Patrick McKee of Ixonia, and Virginia “Ginger” Jerry and spouse, Mike Jerry of El Dorado, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Amanda Jerry of El Dorado, Molly Kramer (Jon) of Oregon and Conor McKee (Katy) of Butler; five great-grandchildren, Scout, Maverick and Axl Jerry of El Dorado, Owen and Charlotte Kramer of Oregon.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Union Hill Baptist Church in Ingalls, Arkansas, with the Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial is in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation is 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. today at Union Hill Baptist Church. Active pallbearers will be Mike Jerry, Patrick McKee, Conor McKee, Jon Kramer and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Maverick Jerry, Axl Jerry and Owen Kramer.
