Cabell Midland NHS shares Christmas cheer
ONA — Cabell Midland High School students from the National Honor Society (NHS) Excalibur Chapter created 125 unique cards for the Holiday Mail for Heroes project through the American Red Cross.
The West Virginia Region American Red Cross program collects handmade cards to distribute to various military groups throughout the state. Cards are given to veterans, service members and their family members at the four VA Hospitals in West Virginia.
Students in the Cabell Midland National Honor Society are working on several projects that help not only those in their school and community but those across the state as well. This project is the first this year and members are looking forward to giving back in the spring through other outreach activities.
