Maroon 5 announces Vivint Arena date
Rock band Maroon 5 will be coming to Vivint Smart Home Arena -- but local fans have a long wait ahead of them before the show eventually rolls into town.
Maroon 5 will play Vivint Arena on Sept. 7 of next year as part of the band’s “Red Pill Blues” tour, it was announced this morning. Special Guest Julia Michaels will open the show.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will be available at vivintarena.com, ticketmaster.com, by calling (800) 745-3000 or at the venue box office.
Maroon 5 is set to release its new album, “Red Pill Blues,” on Nov. 3.
The tour itself will not kick off until May 30 in Tacoma, Washington. The 33-show tour wraps with two shows, Oct. 14-15, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
