Feb. 1

12:49 a.m. — In the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue, police were dispatched to an apartment regarding a trespassing complaint. Jesus Cruz was cited on a charge of trespassing.

7:41 a.m — An officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for having expired registration stickers. After further investigation, Siliva Baeza was cited on charges of driving under suspension, no proof of insurance, and no valid registration.

10:43 a.m. — In the 1200 block of Seventh Street, officers investigated a child abuse and neglect report. The report was determined to be unfounded.

2:54 p.m. — Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle traveling with fictitious license plates. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver, Robert Scott Jr., 44, was cited on a charge of driving under suspension.

3:14 p.m. — Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of east overland in response to a suspicious female. Shelena Hort, 48, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia.

5:45 p.m. — On 02-01-19 officers were dispatched to a non-injury accident in the 1200 block of East Overland. One of the driver’s, Christopher Nauenburg, 44, was arrested on an active warrant.

Feb. 2

12:51 a.m. — An officer indicated a report of vandalism to a vehcile in the 901 W. 17th St. The vandalism was reported to have occurred in the 400 block of W. 38th Street.

6:45 a.m. — At Tenth Street and Movile Avenue, a male was reported to have passed out. Police identified the male as Zachery Balsimo, 19, and he was transported to the hosptial to be treated. Balsimo was cited on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol.

9:45 a.m. — An officer observed Daniel Robles in the 1600 Block of East 12th StreetRobles was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant.

8:52 p.m. — At Cigarette Chain, 323 E. Overland, police investigated a report of theft by shoplifting. An arrest or citation was not listed in the report.

Feb. 3

12:09 a.m. — At the intersection of West 27th Street and Avenue I, policetwo separate calls came out regarding two seperate incidents involving the same pickup truck and the same male suspect. Austin Standage, 20, was cited for disorderly conduct as a result an investigation.

12:54 a.m. — At the intersection of 12th Avenue and E. 15th Street, an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and reported the smell the odor of raw marijuana in the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and the officer allegedly located Alprazolam pills on the person of Joshua Schaub and marijuana in the vehicle. Schaub was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance

3:41 a.m. — An officer responded to a noise disturbance in the 1200 block of Fth Avenue. Leticia Ozuna, 20, was cited on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:34 p.m. — In the 700 block of East Overland, an officer stopped stopped a vehicle for having expired registration stickers. Garrett Escalera was arrested on a charge of protection order violation. Crystal Plasencio was cited on charges of no valid registration and no proof of insurance.

Feb. 4

8:25 a.m. — In the 2400 block of Sixth Avenue, offices responded to a report of an individual attempting to enter a residence. Upon investigation, Elissa Sifuentes was arrested on a charge of disturbing the peace.

10:21 a.m. — An officer investigated a child abuse and neglect report in the 600 block of E. 16th Street. Additional details were not available in the media report.

7:50 p.m. — An observed a male and a female walking west in the 800 blk alley between W. 25th St./W. 26th St. The man, David Retzor, 21, was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant.

9:22 p.m. — Police investigated a report of a theft from a motor vehicle in the 1100 block of Avenue R.

Feb. 5

9:11 a.m. — In the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue, Andrew Brannan was arrested on a charge of disturbing the peace.

12:50 p.m. — In the 1400 block of East 20th Street, police investigated a vandalism to a vehicle.

7:42 p.m. — At Dunham’s Sports, 2410 S. Frontage Road, police investigated a theft by shoplifting.

Feb. 6

7:26 — Officers arrested Jospeh Lefthand, 32, on a Scotts Bluff County warrant.

9:56 a.m. — In the 1700 block of Avenue X, police investigated a report of child abuse/neglect.
