Etsy reports 2Q loss
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (AP) — Etsy Inc. on Tuesday reported a loss of $7.3 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Brooklyn, New York-based company said it had a loss of 6 cents.
The online crafts marketplace posted revenue of $85.3 million in the period.
Etsy shares have risen 54 percent since the beginning of the year. They closed Tuesday at $12.71, a fall of 39 percent in the last 12 months.
