RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Reserves DeAndre Dishman and Dedric Boyd scored 18 points apiece and Eastern Kentucky dominated the second half to beat Division II Kentucky State 97-66 on Thursday night.
The Thorobreds jumped out to a 7-0 lead and didn't trail in the first half until A.J. Youngman buried a 3-pointer with 14 seconds left to give Eastern Kentucky a 35-34 lead. Kevin Hayes answered with a tip-in at the buzzer and Kentucky State had a one-point lead at halftime.
