LONDON (AP) — Novak Djokovic became the 10th man to register 800 victories since the Open Era began in 1968 when he beat France's Adrian Mannarino 7-5 6-1 on Friday to reach the Queen's Club semifinals.

Novak Djokovic is done working with Andre Agassi and Radek Stepanek after the latest in a series of coaching changes for the 12-time major champion who has gone nearly two full years without winning a Grand Slam title.
Djokovic announced Wednesday on his website that he has split from Agassi after less than a year and from Stepanek after less than six months.
The 30-year-old Serb has lost his past three matches.
Even after he went more than four years without a Grand Slam title, even after the first operation of his career led to the first prolonged absence of his career, even after a slide down to 17th in the rankings, Roger Federer never wavered.
Which, when you think about it, makes quite a bit of sense when you consider that he is, after all, Roger Federer.
ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) — Roger Federer added another highlight to his age-defying career resurgence by returning to the top of the world rankings on Friday after more than five years and becoming the oldest No. 1 at 36.
"What an amazing run it's been and a journey it's been for me ... to clinch world No. 1," said Federer, who won three of the last five Grand Slams to put him on track to the top.
ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) — Roger Federer is within touching distance of becoming the oldest male to reach the top of the world rankings after marching into the quarterfinals of the ABN AMRO tournament.

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Novak Djokovic is back from six months off the tour with a remodeled service motion partly inspired by Andre Agassi and a growing confidence he can get his sore right elbow through the Australian Open.
No man has more Australian Open titles than Djokovic, who has six in all and — until last year's shocking second-round exit — had won five of the six contested from 2011 to 2016.
NEW YORK (AP) — Garbine Muguruza made her debut at No. 1 on Monday, joining U.S. Open champion Rafael Nadal in making Spain the first country since the United States 14 years ago to top the WTA and ATP rankings.

NEWPORT, Rhode Island (AP) — Looking around the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Andy Roddick thought about all the things he is not.
Not as good as the historic greats, especially Americans who preceded him into the Newport shrine like John McEnroe, Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi. Not as good as the modern Big Four — Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray — who stood in the way of him winning more than one Grand Slam.

Novak Djokovic joked that the start of his fourth-round match at the French Open was not much fun to watch.
The defending champion dropped his opening service game and took 1 hour, 15 minutes of scrappy, backs-to-the wall tennis to win the first set. He beat 19th-seeded Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-6 (5), 6-1, 6-3.
After milking applause from the fans, Djokovic conducted his brief post-match interview on court.
PARIS (AP) — If Novak Djokovic was hoping to take a little pressure and attention off himself after some rough results, he might very well have found the perfect way to do that by adding Andre Agassi as a coaching consultant of sorts for the French Open.
PARIS (AP) — Nearly a year after his slump started, Novak Djokovic is ready to reveal his new game at the French Open.

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Troubled tennis player Nick Kyrgios acknowledged after his testy loss to Andreas Seppi at the Australian Open this week that he could certainly benefit from having a coach.
Andre Agassi says he feels a certain kinship with Kyrgios, but he's not the man for the job.
"Time is an issue that I don't have the luxury of giving at the moment," he told a news conference in Melbourne via a video link from Las Vegas.
NEW YORK (AP) — At this year's U.S. Open, the fashion's so bright, you gotta wear shades.
Ultra-bright, neon hues of yellow, pink and orange are exploding all over the courts at Flushing Meadows, with players decked out in outfits down to the socks and shoelaces that make a screaming, flashbulb-like assault on the rods and cones. Think a desk full of highlighter pens, only brighter.
NEW YORK (AP) — For all of his victories during two decades on the tennis tour, including eight Grand Slam titles, Andre Agassi looks back most fondly these days on the aftermath of a loss.
During an interview Tuesday in the city where he played his last professional match 10 years ago, Agassi called the way he walked away from the sport as good a moment as he had on court during his lengthy, successful always-in-the-spotlight career
