Police chief says man shot by Beatrice officer has died
May 4, 2022 GMTBEATRICE, Neb. (AP) — A man who was shot by a Beatrice police officer in a confrontation following a high-speed chase over the weekend has died, Beatrice Police Chief Bruce Lang said.
Lang said Bradley Allen, 35, of Lincoln, died Tuesday afternoon — nearly three days after the Saturday night shooting, radio station KWBE reported.

November 15, 2021 GMTLEWISTON, Neb. (AP) — A second-grade teacher from southeastern Nebraska was killed this weekend in a hunting accident, Pawnee County authorities said.
Kade Reiman, 23, who taught at Bennet Elementary in the Palmyra-Bennet School District, was accidently shot while hunting with another person Saturday morning southwest of Lewiston, according to the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office.
