NEW ORLEANS (AP) — An already disappointing season for Matthew Stafford and Los Angeles Rams could be getting worse.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Bryce Perkins and Lance McCutcheon solidified their cases to come off the Los Angeles Rams roster bubble Saturday night.
Perkins threw a pair of touchdown passes to McCutcheon as the defending Super Bowl champions held off the Los Angeles Chargers 29-22 in the preseason opener for both teams in which most of the starters for both teams did not play.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tampa Bay All-Pro right tackle Tristan Wirfs is inactive for Sunday’s NFC divisional playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams with an ankle injury.
Wirfs was hurt during the previous week’s wild-card victory over Philadelphia and had been listed as questionable.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks had only six combined inactive players for their NFC West showdown Tuesday night, thanks to two rosters depleted by COVID-19.
The Rams' inactives were third quarterback Bryce Perkins and linebackers Terrell Lewis, Chris Garrett and Anthony Hines.
