Braves fall to Nationals 3-2 on Abrams’ walk-off hit in 10th

WASHINGTON (AP) — CJ Abrams' third hit of the game drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th Wednesday night to give the Washington Nationals a 3-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves, who fell into second place in the NL East.

Wisdom’s double in 11th propels Cubs to 7-5 win over Nats

WASHINGTON (AP) — Patrick Wisdom drove in the go-ahead run in the 11th inning, and the Chicago Cubs beat the Washington Nationals 7-5 on Tuesday night after losing a 4-0 lead.

Wisdom led off the inning with a double down the left-field line against Victor Arano (1-1), scoring automatic runner Willson Contreras.

Nationals recall SS prospect CJ Abrams, put Garcia on IL

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Nationals recalled shortstop prospect C.J. Abrams from Triple-A Rochester on Monday and placed shortstop Luis García on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain.

Padres win 3-2 in 10 to end 10-game losing streak to Dodgers

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Padres can beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, after all.

Austin Nola hit a sacrifice fly with one out in the 10th inning for the Padres, who won 3-2 on Saturday night to snap a 10-game losing streak to the rival Dodgers.
