DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Receiver Allen Hurns, coming back from a gruesome leg injury, is at the Miami Dolphins training camp in hopes of landing a job.
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins backup cornerback Cordrea Tankersley has a torn knee ligament, the ninth player on the team to sustain a season-ending injury.
"We can't afford any more," coach Adam Gase said Friday. He said the same thing Monday.
The Dolphins also disclosed that quarterback Ryan Tannehill's injury to his throwing shoulder is a capsule injury. He'll miss his fourth game in a row Sunday against the New York Jets.
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — New England Patriots receivers Chris Hogan and Matthew Slater are active for Monday night's game against the Miami Dolphins.
Hogan has been sidelined since Game 8 because of a shoulder injury. Slater has been sidelined since Game 5 because of a hamstring injury.
Dolphins cornerback Cordrea Tankersley is inactive because of ankle and shoulder injuries.
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins guard Jermon Bushrod has been ruled out of Monday night's game against New England because of a foot injury that has sidelined him since Week 11.
Backup quarterback Matt Moore (foot) and running back Damien Williams (shoulder) were also ruled out Saturday, as expected. Cornerback Cordrea Tankersley (ankle and shoulder) is doubtful.
Coach Adam Gase said he anticipates Bushrod will be able to play again this season.
RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks have signed veteran cornerback Byron Maxwell to help make up for the loss of Richard Sherman to a season-ending Achilles tendon injury.
Seattle formally announced Maxwell's signing Tuesday and placed Sherman on injured reserve. Maxwell knows Seattle's system after starting his career with the Seahawks and becoming a starter during the 2013 season.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Jonathan Stewart saw huge running lanes, ran with some familiar punch — and held onto the football, too.
It was a reminder that the Carolina Panthers' 10-year veteran still has some burst left in his legs, not to mention the ability to shake off an uncharacteristically bad performance.
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Cornerback Byron Maxwell has been released by the Miami Dolphins, who signed David Fales to reinforce depth at quarterback.
With Jay Cutler nursing cracked ribs, Fales is expected to back up Matt Moore in Thursday's game at Baltimore.
Fales was with the Dolphins in training camp and cut before the season. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 2014, but has never thrown a pass in an NFL game.
ATLANTA (AP) — Jay Cutler and the Miami Dolphins finally generated some offense.
Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons totally fell apart.
The result: a stunning 20-17 victory for the Dolphins.
Cutler threw a pair of touchdown passes, Cody Parkey kicked a pair of field goals and Miami rallied from a 17-0 halftime deficit, rekindling memories of Atlanta's epic collapse against New England in the Super Bowl.
And next up for the Falcons — a rematch against the Patriots.
ATLANTA (AP) — Just in time for a Super Bowl rematch with New England, the Atlanta Falcons felt the too-familiar anguish of blowing another big lead.
The opportunistic Miami Dolphins delivered the reminder.
Reshad Jones intercepted a pass deflected by Cordrea Tankersley with 39 seconds remaining, clinching Miami's come-from-behind 20-17 win over Atlanta on Sunday.
LONDON (AP) — Cornerback Byron Maxwell is inactive for the Miami Dolphins' game against the New Orleans Saints at Wembley Stadium on Sunday after injuring a hamstring in the team's walk-through the day before.

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Ohio State linebacker Raekwon McMillan cried about being drafted Friday by the Miami Dolphins, and not because their defense was in a sad state last season.
Those were tears of joy.
"It's just amazing — all this hard work is finally coming to light," McMillan said after pausing half a minute to regain his composure. "It's just a blessing."
The Dolphins were happy too, confident they addressed their biggest needs by devoting their first three draft picks to defense.
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson cornerback Cordrea Tankersley wants to finish the season the right way.
He is the lone returning starter from the third-ranked Tigers' secondary last year, coming back for a final season and another shot at the national championship.
Tankersley can help Clemson (9-0, 6-0 Atlantic Coast Conference; CFP No. 2 ) take a step toward that goal Saturday against Pitt (5-4, 2-3), a win giving the Tigers the ACC Atlantic and a spot in the league's title game.
