Notre Dame blows big lead, recovers to beat NC State 69-57

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Paul Atkinson and Dane Goodwin posted double-doubles and Notre Dame recovered after blowing a 17-point first-half lead to beat North Carolina State 69-57 on Saturday.

Atkinson had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Goodwin 12 points and 10 boards.

Hot second half lifts Syracuse past NC State 89-82

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Jesse Edwards and Cole Swider scored 19 points apiece and Syracuse scored the last six points of the game to top North Carolina State 89-82 on Wednesday night.

The Wolfpack pulled within 83-82 on a pair of Dereon Seabron free throws but Syracuse quickly answered with a Swider 3-pointer from the left wing.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Dereon Seabron scored a career-high 39 points with 18 rebounds and N.C. State defeated Nebraska 104-100 in a marathon, four-overtime Big Ten-ACC Challenge Wednesday night.

The 39 points was also a record for the Big Ten-ACC Challenge.

Seabron free throws lift NC State past Colgate, 77-74

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Dereon Seabron hit two free throws with two seconds left to lift North Carolina State to a 77-74 win over Colgate on Saturday.

Tucker Richardson pulled Colgate even at 74 with 11 seconds left with a 3-pointer, but Seabron drew a foul and gave the Wolfpack the two-point lead and Ebenezer Dowuona hit the second of two free throws with no time left.
