FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have promoted wide receiver-punt returner JoJo Natson from the practice squad. He'll likely be active Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Jets also announced Saturday that they have waived/injured defensive lineman Ed Stinson and signed cornerback Michael Hunter to the practice squad.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have placed rookie tight end Jordan Leggett on injured reserve and signed defensive lineman Xavier Cooper.

Leggett was a fifth-round draft pick out of Clemson this year. He was inactive for the first eight games after injuring a knee during the preseason. There was some hope that Leggett might be able to return soon, but his knee swelled after a recent practice.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets signed defensive lineman Ed Stinson and outside linebacker Obum Gwacham on Wednesday, and placed rookie outside linebacker Dylan Donahue on injured reserve.

The team also announced that it signed linebacker Freddie Bishop to the practice squad.

Stinson was a fifth-round draft choice of Arizona in 2014 and had 22 tackles in three seasons with the Cardinals. He was waived from injured reserve on Sept. 13.

PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals released fourth-round draft pick guard Dorian Johnson, guard Cole Toner, a former fifth-round draft pick, along with former University of Arizona star inside linebacker Scooby Wright III and 28 others Saturday to reach the NFL's 53-man limit.

Also released, as had been reported Friday, was veteran running back Chris Johnson.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona quarterback Carson Palmer was active Sunday night against Seattle after being listed as questionable Friday with a hamstring injury.

The Seahawks were without safety Kam Chancellor and the Cardinals didn't have wide receiver John Brown. Chancellor has a groin injury and Brown has been diagnosed with sickle cell traits that cause pain in his legs.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — New York Jets inside linebacker David Harris and Arizona Cardinals left guard Mike Iupati are inactive for Monday night's game.

Harris has a hamstring injury and Iupati is sidelined with a sprained ankle.

Also inactive for the Jets were quarterback Christian Hackenberg, quarterback Bryce Petty, wide receiver Jeremy Butler, tackle Brandon Shell and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who had been listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey and tight end Vance McDonald are among the players inactive for the San Francisco 49ers against the Arizona Cardinals.

Cornerback Jimmie Ward (quadriceps) and defensive lineman DeForest Buckner (foot) had already been ruled out of Thursday night's game. Dorsey is being held out with a knee injury and McDonald is missing his second straight game with an injured hip.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The New England Patriots made it official on Sunday and listed All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski as inactive for Sunday night's opener against the Arizona Cardinals.

Gronkowski did not make the trip because of a hamstring injury. The Patriots also did not bring starting left tackle Nate Solder (hamstring) and starting right guard Jonathan Cooper (foot).
