FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) — A childhood home in New Jersey where Bruce Springsteen lived for seven years has been sold for $255,000.
The Asbury Park Press reports the two-family home at 39 Institute Street in Freehold was listed for $269,900 in November.
The Springsteens lived on the left side of the house from 1955 to 1962.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Marty Allen, the baby-faced, bug-eyed comedian with wild black hair who was a staple of TV variety shows, game shows and talk shows for decades, died Monday night. He was 95.
Allen died in Las Vegas of complications from pneumonia with his wife and performing partner of the last three decades Karon Kate Blackwell by his side, Allen's spokeswoman Candi Cazau told The Associated press.

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Trump fatigue? No such thing in comic Stephen Colbert's world.
"He is president of the United States," Colbert said Saturday. "There is no escaping it. It's like having oxygen fatigue."

Despite it all, she considers her personal life a bust.
"For as much success as I had professionally, personally I'm a failure," said Francis.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — A home once owned by Elvis Presley in the 1950s as he was skyrocketing to fame was damaged by fire Saturday.
The Commercial Appeal (http://memne.ws/2ofFwIF ) reports the Memphis home was unoccupied and undergoing renovations.

NEW YORK (AP) — CBS News will be in election night coverage mode on Nov. 8, but that won't stop Stephen Colbert from trying to find something funny about the day's events.
Showtime announced Monday that Colbert will host a live, one-hour election night special from the same Ed Sullivan Theater where the comic tapes the "Late Show" every night. He'll be on earlier, too: Colbert's special will start at 11 p.m. EST.
