CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Edgar Castillo and Niki Jackson scored eight minutes apart in the second half, and the Colorado Rapids tied the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-2 on Tuesday night.

Castillo tied it at 1 for Colorado (6-12-6) in the 74th minute after sending a loose ball in from distance. Jackson knotted it at 2 in the 82th with a deflected shot over the head of David Bingham.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — Nana Boateng scored his first MLS goal in the 93rd minute to help the Colorado Rapids beat the 10-man San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 on Saturday night.

Boateng took Edgar Castillo's short pass and found some room in the penalty area before cutting back a shot that skipped though two San Jose defenders and outside the reach of the goalkeeper.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — Sam Nicholson scored in the 90th minute and the Colorado Rapids ended the Los Angeles Galaxy's nine-game unbeaten streak with a 2-1 victory Saturday night.

Nicholson made a run into the middle of the area and finished Edgar Castillo's cutback pass with just enough air under the shot to stay out of the goalkeeper's reach.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Dillon Serna's goal at the 88th minute lifted Colorado to a 2-2 tie against Real Salt Lake on Saturday in a match delayed 45 minutes by rain and lightning.

Serna entered the game at the 85th minute and replaced Kortne Ford. Shortly thereafter, Colorado's Edgar Castillo put together a run on the left side, weaved through Salt Lake defenders and fired a shot saved by Nick Rimando. Serna continued his run and from a difficult angle at left got the rebound past Rimando.
