Horace Mann Educators Corp

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) _ Horace Mann Educators Corp. (HMN) on Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $14.5 million.

The Springfield, Illinois-based company said it had net income of 35 cents per share.
