RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Marcellus Garrick had 18 points on six 3-pointers, Job Alexander added 15 points, six rebounds and six assists and Cal Poly used a big second-half to defeat UC Riverside 71-45 on Thursday night.
The Mustangs led 28-25 at halftime then shot 57 percent and scored 43 points in the second half. Cal Poly's 19-3 run to open the second half put the game well in hand, 47-28 with 11:55 remaining.
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Marcus McMaryion threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more to help Fresno State beat Wyoming 27-3 on Saturday night.
McMaryion was 22-of-32 passing for 287 yards with no interceptions and added a season-high 53 yards rushing on seven carries.
Wyoming (2-5, 0-3 Mountain West) moved into Bulldogs territory before settling for a 44-yard field goal by Cooper Rothe on the opening drive, but did not cross midfield again until the closing seconds.

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Josh Hokit accounted for three touchdowns and the Fresno State defense limited Incarnate Word to minus-7 yards rushing on Saturday night to help the Bulldogs beat the Cardinals 66-0 in the season opener for both teams.
Hokit, a sophomore running back, had two short rushing touchdowns and hit Jared Rice for a 65-yard score. Chason Virgil was 16-of-29 passing for 246 yards and a touchdown and KeeSean Johnson had seven receptions for 120 yards for the Bulldogs.
LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Kent Myers passed for 188 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 66 yards to help Utah State beat Fresno State 38-20 on Saturday night.
