MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired forward Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans in a three-team deal.
The Bucks made the announcement in a news release on Thursday. Milwaukee also will send forward Thon Maker to the Detroit Pistons and center Jason Smith and four future second-round draft picks to the Pelicans. Detroit will send forward Stanley Johnson to New Orleans to complete the deal.

Greitens on Wednesday announced he picked former lawmaker Jason Crowell to the post.
Crowell was elected to the Missouri House in 2000 and served as House majority floor leader. He then served eight years in the state Senate.
STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. (AP) — Members of Missouri's congressional delegation are renewing efforts to designate the Mississippi River town of Ste. Genevieve as a national historic site.
Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill, Republican Sen. Roy Blunt and Republican Rep. Jason Smith on Monday introduced legislation to establish the Ste. Genevieve National Historic Site and designate it as part of the National Park Service.

PHOENIX (AP) — The NBA has fined Jared Dudley of the Phoenix Suns and Brandon Jennings of the Washington Wizards $35,000 apiece for their roles in an altercation during a game Tuesday night in Phoenix.
The fines were announced Thursday.
Dudley was fined for "escalating an altercation" by confronting and giving a head-butt to the Wizards' Jason Smith after Smith knocked down the Suns' Tyler Ulis with a hard screen.
