Olympic medalist Joey Mantia has retired from speedskating at age 37. The Floridian announced the end of his career in a post on his Instagram Threads page.

Bowe, teen Stolz win 1,000 races at US speedskating trials
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Brittany Bowe won the women’s 1,000 meters and teenager Jordan Stolz beat Joey Mantia in the men’s 1,000 at the U.S. speedskating trials Thursday.
