Hogan signs college athlete endorsement bill, sports betting
May 18, 2021 GMTANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland is the latest state to approve a law allowing college athletes to earn money from endorsements after Gov. Larry Hogan signed legislation Tuesday.
The Republican governor also signed a separate measure to implement sports betting in the state, as Maryland joins other states that have legalized sports wagering since the U.S.

Durkin was fired Wednesday night, just over 24 hours after being reinstated.
