KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Sporting Kansas City traded starting forward Diego Rubio to the Colorado Rapids for midfielder Kelyn Rowe and $300,000 in allocation money on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old Rubio, who was entering the final year of his contract, scored 15 goals in 51 regular-season MLS games for Sporting KC. He also had two goals in the MLS Cup Playoffs after he was acquire two years ago from Real Valladolid in the Spanish second division.

SANDY, Utah (AP) — Nick Besler, Sebastian Saucedo and Corey Baird scored in the first 30 minutes and Real Salt Lake eased past the New England Revolution 4-1 on Thursday night.

Bunbury gave New England (6-9-5) a 3-2 lead in the 70th. His pass down the right side led Kelyn Rowe, who played a perfect cross to a charging Bunbury for a header from the top of the 6-yard box.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Alejandro Bedoya and Omar Gonzalez moved into the starting lineup for the United States' CONCACAF Gold Cup opener against Panama on Saturday, and Dax McCarty made his first competitive appearance, nine years after his debut.

Those were the only two changes in the lineup from last weekend's 2-1 exhibition win over Ghana. Bedoya replaces Paul Arriola at wide midfield and Gonzalez took over for Matt Hedges in central defense, paired with Matt Besler.

CHICAGO (AP) — Kansas City forward Dom Dwyer and midfielders Kenny Saief of Gent, Cristian Roldan of Seattle and Kelyn Rowe of New England have been picked for the U.S. roster for the CONCACAF Gold Cup and could make their national team debuts next month.

NEW YORK (AP) — Xavier Kouassi scored his first MLS goal in the 86th minute and the New England Revolution tied New York City FC 2-2 on Wednesday night.

It was the first time this season New York City (6-6-2) has allowed a goal in the final 15 minutes.

Both goals by New England (4-6-4) came on headers. In the 24th minute, Kei Kamara headed in Lee Nguyen's corner kick to tie it at 1. On Kouassi's goal, Kelyn Rowe chipped it across the goal to find Kouassi at the back post.
