ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (AP) — New York's Diocese of Rockville Centre on Monday started an independent compensation program for victims of clergy sexual abuse.

The program is likely to involve dozens of victims and cost the diocese millions of dollars, Newsday reported.

BOSTON (AP) — The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation has a new executive director.

The Boston-based organization announced Tuesday that Steven M. Rothstein had been selected to take the helm.

Rothstein will oversee all operations of the Foundation, which provides financial support, staffing and creative resources for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
