Swiss skier Yule beats Ryding to win slalom in Kitzbuehel
January 22, 2023 GMTKITZBUEHEL, Austria (AP) — Daniel Yule reinforced what he called his “love affair” with Kitzbuehel by winning the men's World Cup slalom in the posh Austrian ski resort for a second time Sunday.
The Swiss slalom specialist ranked only seventh after the opening run, but he posted the third-fastest time in the second.

The Norwegian skier let out a yell and thumped his chest after seeing his time on the board and then he just had to wait for his compatriot and defending World Cup slalom champion Henrik Kristoffersen, who had a slender lead of 0.07 seconds from the first run.
Odermatt dominates World Cup GS to consolidate overall lead
