Prosecutors say state police unit had 2 quota systems
April 18, 2019 GMTBOSTON (AP) — Federal prosecutors say troopers in a troubled Massachusetts State Police unit had a second illegal quota system for issuing traffic tickets.
Last month, the U.S. attorney's office in Boston described how troopers had to issue at least eight citations per four-hour overtime shift for a program aimed at reducing crashes on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
