BAKU, Azerbaijan (AP) — Charles Leclerc set the fastest time of the day in second practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Friday as he aims to turn around his recent run of disappointing race results, after Sergio Pérez led the first session.
JIDDAH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Mick Schumacher will not compete in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix following his hard crash in Formula One qualifying.
Schumacher crashed Saturday and was airlifted to a hospital for further examination before returning to his hotel.
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (AP) — Russian driver Nikita Mazepin was dropped by Haas F1 despite the FIA ruling he could compete in Formula One races under a neutral flag.
Haas also ended its sponsorship with Uralkali, the Russian fertilizer company owned by Mazepin’s father.
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — As home races go, the U.S. Grand Prix was just like the rest of the season for Haas F1.

The American-owned Formula One team finished last again. Its two cars, driven by rookies Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, were so far off the pace that they were two laps down when Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton raced past them to the finish.
