TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals have signed cornerbacks David Amerson and Leonard Johnson.

Wednesday's move came a day after the team placed starting right guard Justin Pugh on injured reserve with a knee injury and released safety Eddie Pleasant.

Pugh was injured in Sunday's loss at Kansas City. Oday Aboushi, who signed with Arizona on Oct. 23 after spending training camp with Oakland, is expected to start in Pugh's place against the Raiders this Sunday.

NAPA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent offensive lineman Oday Aboushi.

Aboushi was signed Saturday to fill the spot on the roster that opened up when offensive lineman Vadal Alexander was placed on the reserve list after failing to come to camp.

Aboushi spent last season in Seattle, where his position coach was current Raiders offensive line coach Tom Cable. Aboushi was a fifth-round pick of the New York Jets in 2013 out of Virginia, and he has also been with Houston.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — With concerns about depth at linebacker, the Seattle Seahawks have promoted linebacker Paul Dawson off their practice squad and placed offensive lineman Oday Aboushi on injured reserve.

The Seahawks made the roster moves Wednesday before beginning preparations for Sunday's NFC West matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Seattle is uncertain of the status of linebackers Bobby Wagner (hamstring) and K.J. Wright (concussion).

Eddie Lacy is a surprise inactive Sunday for Seattle a week after struggling to get going in the season opener against Green Bay.

Lacy was not listed on any injury report this week and was held to 3 yards on five carries in the opening loss to the Packers. Seattle is going with Thomas Rawls, Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise at running back.

Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman is active after being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury and sitting out two days of practice this week.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — It wouldn't be the preseason without uncertainty about how the Seattle Seahawks offensive line will look come Week 1.

In what has become a regular occurrence the past few seasons, the line has been thrown into flux again with the season-ending knee injury suffered by expected starting left tackle George Fant in last Friday's preseason game against Minnesota. Fant suffered a torn ACL and some MCL damage in his right knee and will undergo surgery soon.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks added depth on the offensive line by signing former Houston guard Oday Aboushi.

Seattle announced the deal with Aboushi on Monday. Aboushi spent his first two seasons with the New York Jets and the past two years with Houston. Aboushi made eight starts and appeared in 11 games during his time with the Texans. He started 10 games in his two seasons with the Jets.

HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans are without running back Lamar Miller on Saturday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, who won't have receiver A.J. Green.

Miller, who hasn't missed a game this season, injured his ankle late in last week's win over the Jaguars. Green told reporters that he'd play in this game earlier this week after missing four games with a hamstring injury. But he was among the inactive players on Saturday night amid reports that he was unhappy with the decision.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Cornerback Sean Smith is active for the Oakland Raiders and defensive tackle Vince Wilfork will play for the Houston Texans after being questionable with injuries.

Smith missed the previous game for Oakland with a shoulder injury but will play Monday night against the Texans at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. Wilfork was questionable with a groin injury but will play.

DENVER (AP) — Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer was inactive Monday night against Houston as he recovers from a concussion.

The third-year player out of Indiana was hurt on Oct. 13 in San Diego. Latimer has three catches for 22 yards this season.

Left tackle Russell Okung was in the starting lineup after leaving the game in San Diego in an ambulance due to a concussion.
