Skagit County down to 1,100 ballots left to count

MOUNT VERNON — The Skagit County Elections Department has about 1,100 ballots left to count before it can certify the Nov. 6 general election results.

The department counted about 4,900 ballots Friday, giving it 53,958 counted since election night.

Another 6,700 Skagit County ballots counted

The Skagit County Elections Department counted about 6,700 ballots Friday as it makes its way toward certifying the general election.

Three days after the election, the county has counted 32,559 ballots and has an estimated 22,000 remaining.
