AMC, the show's network, announced Wilson's death Saturday. The network called Wilson's character on "The Walking Dead," veterinarian Hershel Greene, "the emotional core of the show."

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Latest on Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final (all times local):
11:09 p.m.
Jake Guentzel scored twice and Matt Murray made 37 saves as the Pittsburgh Penguins chased Predators goalie Pekka Rinne and moved two wins away from a second consecutive title by beating Nashville 4-1 in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — The puck fluttered into the net and the Columbus Blue Jackets thrust their arms into the air, certain they had tied the Pittsburgh Penguins early in the third period of Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.
One problem. They weren't the only ones with their arms up.
When an official waved off the goal and called Alex Wenneberg for interfering with Pittsburgh goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, the Penguins still had the lead and — even better — a power play.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Mike Sullivan keeps insisting his team isn't looking ahead. That the Pittsburgh Penguins haven't let their eyes creep ahead to next week when their injury riddled regular season ends and the real defense of their Stanley Cup begins.
Sullivan's team backed up its coach, even with another familiar face out of the lineup indefinitely.
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin spent more time in the penalty box than usual for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
They made up for it by scoring a couple of important goals.
Crosby got the go-ahead goal on a deflection in the second period, Malkin added an insurance goal in the third and the Penguins beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 on Tuesday night.
"They're always able to get us a goal when we need it," winning goalie Matt Murray said.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Penguins were rested after a week off since their last game, while the Tampa Bay Lightning were playing for the third time in four days.
It showed.
Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 28 shots in his fifth straight win, leading the Penguins to a 6-2 victory over the Lightning on Sunday.
Fleury, who has not lost in regulation since allowing six goals to the Minnesota on Nov. 25, is 7-0-1 in his last eight decisions.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Sidney Crosby left briefly after taking a stick to the face then returned and picked up his NHL-leading 21st goal as the Pittsburgh Penguins crushed the Arizona Coyotes 7-0 on Monday night.
NEW YORK (AP) — Sidney Crosby got angry, and then the Pittsburgh Penguins got even in a big way against the division-leading New York Rangers.
Following a first-period skirmish with Ryan McDonagh, Crosby had two goals and an assist during a five-goal second period and the Penguins shut down the Rangers in a 6-1 rout on Wednesday night.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Down two goals — and even worse, down two defensemen — after two periods on Thursday night against San Jose, Pittsburgh Penguins coach Mike Sullivan offered his players a much-needed reminder.
"You can win ugly in this league," Sullivan told them.
The Stanley Cup champions responded with 20 minutes of grit against an opponent only too familiar with how deep the Penguins can dig when the moment requires.
