BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Isaiah Green threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Tyre Brady with 1:44 left and gave Marshall a 20-17 win over Western Kentucky in a conference opener Saturday night.

Green threw for 288 yards and two scores — both to Brady — for the Thundering Herd (3-1, 1-0 Conference USA). Brady had eight receptions for 162 yards.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Isaiah Green passed for 278 yards and three touchdowns and Marshall doubled up FCS Eastern Kentucky in its home opener, 32-16 on Saturday night.

The game between former rivals is the first meeting since 1992.

The Colonels punted twice before Marshall got its offense on the field. The Thundering Herd stopped Eastern Kentucky at its own 24 on its first possession but fumbled the ensuing punt.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Chase Litton threw for three touchdowns and Marshall scored three of its five touchdowns in the fourth quarter to pull away from Old Dominion for a 35-3 Homecoming win on Saturday.

Litton's second TD pass went 46 yards to Tyre Brady to give the Thundering Herd (5-1, 2-0 Conference USA) a 21-3 lead with 14:16 left in the fourth. The Monarchs (2-4, 0-2) fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and Chris Jackson recovered and returned it 15 yards to make it 27-3.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Chase Litton threw two touchdown passes to Tyre Brady and Marshall beat Charlotte 14-3 on Saturday for the 49ers' sixth straight loss.

It's the 26th straight game Litton has thrown a TD pass, the second-longest streak in the nation behind Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield (31).

CINCINNATI (AP) — Chase Litton and Ryan Yurachek have been together for three seasons and through rough times.

Marshall won just three games last year and hadn't won on the road since Oct. 31, 2015, at Charlotte but these two road roommates led their younger teammates.

Litton threw four touchdown passes, including three to Yurachek, to help Marshall to a 38-21 win over Cincinnati on Saturday night.
