SanMar Named Top 40 Supplier from ASI
Seattle, WA - ( NewMediaWire ) - August 19, 2020 - Marty Lott, the founder of SanMar, was honored at Counselor’s virtual ceremony on Wednesday, July 22.
“As the founder of SanMar, he spent the last 50 years building this company into the largest in the industry,” says his son, Jeremy Lott, proudly. “He spearheaded our employee training program, our philanthropic efforts, and he allowed employees to work from home long before it was a business trend. In a lot of ways, he’s a trailblazer.” For his accomplishments, Marty was awarded the Counselor Lifetime Achievement Award.
“While I feel too young and still have many goals I want to accomplish, I’m very proud of the business, family, and community that I’ve been so fortunate to be part of,” Marty said.
“Without my father’s influence, I would not be the leader I am today. This company would not be in the position of success it has obtained. I’ve done well, but I owe all of that to the foundation my father laid for me,” says Jeremy Lott.
At the same ceremony, Counselor unveiled its 2020 Top 40 suppliers and Top 40 distributor rankings. Based on 2019 revenue, these are the largest companies in the industry. On the supplier list, SanMar was ranked number one while setting an industry record in sales.
