Clear Inc. Introduces Holistic Firewall Technologies to Improve Indoor Air and Water Quality in Canada

May 26, 2021 GMT

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 2021--

Clear Inc. (“Clear”), a leading integrator in air and water firewall technologies, today announced its launch in the Canadian market, repurposing patented technologies that have been used by pharmaceutical companies and hospitals in 62 countries around the globe. Clear is on a mission to improve public health and safety, and elevate awareness of one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century: Sick Building Syndrome. According to the World Health Organization, 40 percent of North America’s buildings are sick. Harnessing its technologies, Clear intends to create a new standard of healthy and safe living in condominiums, apartments, and commercial buildings by working with condominium boards, property management companies, developers, and hoteliers to equip, maintain, and monitor indoor air and water quality across North America.

“We believe that clean indoor air and water is a human right, not a privilege. At Clear, we’re very aware of the health issues our communities are facing at this time, especially now that we’re spending more time indoors than ever before,” said Gil D. Blutrich, Founder and President of Clear Inc. “We’re on a mission to raise awareness about the significant health challenges presented by indoor air and water pollution, provide solutions, and ultimately improve public health and safety. We’re incredibly proud to introduce Clear to the Canadian market.”

In March 2021, Toronto-based Lifetime Developments announced a strategic partnership with Clear that will integrate Clear systems into all future Lifetime Development projects. Oscar Residences, in Toronto’s Annex, is the first Lifetime project to receive this best-in-class technology into all shared amenity spaces, bringing to light the concept of healthy living, which has been well-received by the community.

Alessandro Cernuto, Product Manager at Clear, adds, “By making these world-class systems accessible at a reasonable cost, through a subscription-based model, and without major capital expenditures to condominium owners, Clear is having a real impact on public health.”

Typical in buildings with poor filtration systems, Sick Building Syndrome manifests in respiratory problems for occupants. On average, people spend 90 percent of their time indoors. Amidst the global pandemic, this has presented an increased risk of exposure to harmful viruses, pathogens, and bacteria, and the potential development of serious, long-term health conditions.

Clear’s technologies will equip, maintain, and monitor a building’s indoor air and water quality, 24/7. To increase consumer confidence, Clear will also install a TV in the building lobby that will display real-time air and water quality information. Building residents will also be able to access this information through the Clear app.

Clear Air, the company’s air purification technology, combines a patented and EPA-approved Sterionizer and Ray Filter, with bipolar ionization and UV light to purify, cleanse, and disinfect indoor air, while vigilantly monitoring its quality in real-time. Clear’s Hydro-Optic system is a centralized solution that leverages advanced UV light technologies to offer 99.99% microbiologically-pure, pharmaceutical-grade water through every tap in the building, without the use or addition of chemicals.
