“Posted at the start of each month, our regular top-selling reports track handgun, rifle, and shotgun sales,” explains a GunBroker.com representative, “across a variety of categories.”

According to the latest GunBroker.com sales report for July 2020, handguns are the top-selling firearms over the past month. During July, the GunBroker.com platform’s best-selling semi-automatic pistol was revealed to be the Sig Sauer P365 Nitron Micro-Compact. The best-selling revolver, meanwhile, was the Colt Python, which has now held the top spot in this category since May.

In regards to rifles, the auction website’s top-selling semi-automatic example during July 2020 was the KEL-TEC Sub-2000, pushing last month’s biggest seller—the Smith & Wesson M&P15—into second place, according to the report.

Bolt-action, lever-action, pump-action, and single-shot rifle top-sellers were the Ruger Precision Rifle, Marlin 1895, Remington 7600, and Winchester 1885 respectively. This marks the third month at the top for the Marlin 1895, based on a look back at the previously published May 2020 and June 2020 sales reports from GunBroker.com and GunGenius.com.

GunBroker.com data allows users of the online marketplace to compare trends in the sale of firearms, month-by-month. Individuals visiting the website at GunGenius.com may filter by firearm type, condition, and more, with freely available archived data—now spanning back as far as January 2015.
